REVIEW WRITTEN BY MOMZINGA.COM

TIME TO GET RID OF THAT TUMMY

With Thinking Thursday here, I started reading The Hungry Girl Diet, and I realized that I am on a crash course to hell. I probably weigh about 130 pounds, but all the fat I have in my body is right in my stomach. My waist is too big for my body size! I need to start eating healthier. Right now!

HUNGRY GIRL BOOK

All I had to do was gaze at the table of contents in Lisa Lillien’s new book, Hungry Girl Diet, and I started drooling on the pages. She has listed all of these yummy, healthy foods that are good for ALL women, especially busy women who are moms. Her book is seriously easy to read. It’s like reading a well done blog.

TAKE THE FAT OUT

Lillien who has written numerous Hungry Girl books, made this dieting thing look really easy and she made it look delicious. Basically what she does in Hungry Girl Diet is take all of the fattening foods, and ingredients out, designed a seriously easy book to read. It is so easy to glance at, gaining much-needed insight in how to eat healthier to lose weight and how to stay fit and trim by eating healthy foods.

FIBER RICH FOODS

Lillien included many pictures of delicious looking foods like chicken strips, pasta dishes, tacos, and much more. She pictured mouth-watering fruits, granola, fiber rich foods, that had me at watermelon, bananas, no fat yogurt, lemon water, broccoli and yummy salads.

LOSE TEN POUNDS IN A MONTH

The Hungry Girl Diet is a step by step weekly guide, (diet of 4 weeks only), where Lillien works with a registered dietician to help any woman, especially busy moms, lose weight. Her goal for this book is ten pounds in a month.

What I noticed was The Hungry Girl adds in meat-free meals for vegetarians and guilt-free recipes that make dieters feel like they aren’t really skimping on any calories.

I feel better already after simply reading this book, taking notes and wandering to my kitchen to eat some of our sparse fruit offerings in the kitchen. By the way here is Lisa Lillien’s website for more dieting info: www.hungry-girl.com Copyright(c) 2014!WRITTEN BY MOMZINGA.COM AKA KATE JOHNS
