WEIRD NEWS WEDNESDAY—–EVER TRY FREE BLEEDING? FEMALE ATHLETES ARE—–
ONE MORE REASON TO NOT GO TO THE GYM. FEMALE ATHLETES ARE FREE BLEEDING. IT’S DISGUSTING!! These women are literally taking women’s rights back to the middle ages, when women did not have anything but cloths to use as period pads. Besides, it has nothing to do with confidence, it has everything to do with common sense, and not bleeding on seats other people sit on. Who knows if these free-bleeders have HIV, AIDS or other easily spread diseases.
Olympic Gold Medalist, Aly Raisman has her fair share of period woes, but says she won’t take to free bleeding like other athletes.
Despite Raisman’s efforts, Free bleeding has been catching on.
Earlier this year, yoga-lover Steph Gongora made headlines after sharing an Instagram video of herself performing a series of moves while free bleeding in white yoga pants.
In 2015, M.I.A. drummer Kiran Gandhi ran a marathon without a tampon to raise awareness about women who have no access to feminine products and to encourage women to not be embarrassed about their periods.
How about a wealthy female celebrity sending feminine hygiene products to women in countries where they need them? How is that for an original idea, instead of free-bleeding? It’s gross, disgusting and unhealthy!!
Through her partnership with Playtex, the Olympian encourages girls to continue on in sports after they get their period for the first time by providing the tools and advice they need to “play on.”
“I work out a lot with little girls, so sometimes they’ll run and [say to] me, I just got my period!’ I get what they’re going through so I like to be that person for them.”
At least Raisman has the common sense to do the right thing, not allow her period blood to spill out all over everything, and teach young girls the same ideals, and values! Momzinga.com.
