Momzinga’sTACO TUESDAY: Chicken Soup slow Cooker Recipe!

TACO TUESDAY—
Welcome to Taco Tuesday. I’m starting off with a delicious chicken soup recipe my husband created. He calls himself the Rock and Roll Chef, because he listens to music he loves while he cooks. He loves to cook, and I love his food made from his heart.

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken Soup

2 pounds of boneless chicken breast cut into 1″ chunks
2 26 oz containers of chicken broth
4 stalks of celery diced
2 cups of carrots diced
1 large onion chopped
2 cups spinach, rinsed and diced
1/2 tsp of garlic chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp season salt
1/2 cup chopped parsley or 3 tbsp dried parsley
One package of dry noodles (cook as directed/do not add to soup)

Place chicken in bottom of slow cooker.
Sprinkle with dry spices.
Layer celery, carrots, onion, spinach parsley
add chicken broth.
Cook for 5-6 hours on high setting. Don’t stir for the first couple of hours so the chicken remains closest to heat.
Cook the noodles as directed, do not add to crock pot because noodles will soak in too much of the broth. Place desired amount of noodles in in individual soup bowls and cover with soup mixture. Serve with crusty Italian bread or biscuits. Copyright(c)2014!MOMZINGA.COM
