Momzinga’s Taco Tuesday: Easy Bake, Healthy Salmon Dinner

I love a healthy salmon meal for dinner several times a week. I love eating shrimp, fish and affordable lobster. So twice a week my husband makes salmon or another fish dinner for me to eat. How nice, right?

When I noticed the salmon dinner that came across my email this morning from Food Network, I knew I suddenly had my idea for Taco Tuesday.

Here is my hubby’s super easy to bake, healthy salmon dinner:

Using frozen salmon, run the package with the salmon still inside, under the faucet with cool water to thaw the fish a little, before cooking.

After taking the fish out of the package, sprinkle a small amount of lemon juice on the fish.

Shake Mrs. Dash Seasoning on the salmon; make sure to get both sides.
Wrap the salmon in tin foil to cook in the oven or outside on the grill.
Bake the salmon in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Frozen salmon may take longer than 25 minutes to cook. It may appear to be too pink in the middle–which means it is not cooked enough.

Usually we make a Cesar salad with romaine lettuce to mix it up a little. Bake potatoes, or add a side dish. You can add whatever side dishes you like, such as broccoli, or cauliflower to stay with this healthy theme. I also have a completely different sauce to add-on cauliflower, and broccoli, which I will talk about next week on Taco Tuesday. Copyright(c) 2014! MOMZINGA.COM
